Today I've put together a superbList of ingredients for the home version of fondueThe hot pots are colorful! Whether it's meat, meatballs or vegetables, the best time for shabu-shabu is labeled in detail, so you can easily master the fire, and every bite is tender and delicious. Bookmark this list, it's a must-have for any hotpot party!


Balls | Juicy & Fluffy

  1. prawn chops: 2-3 minutes, tender and smooth, don't shabu-shabu for too long to keep the original flavor.
  2. Beef Balls / Fish Balls / Cuttlefish Balls / Shiitake Mushroom Balls: 3-4 minutes for a classic pairing that never gets old.
  3. Crab Sticks/Satayaki Beef Balls: 2-4 minutes, the crab stick is fresh and flavorful, and the beef meatballs are bursting with juice and full of flavor.
  4. Fish Balls / Fish Roe Fukubukuro: 2-3 minutes, richly filled and a surprise in the mouth.
  5. Shrimp Balls/Lobster Balls: 3 minutes, ideal for serving with a broth pot to preserve the original flavor of the seafood.
  6. Fish Tofu/Hot Pot Rice Cake: 2 minutes or so, easy to cook and add rich flavor.

Meat Preferred | Tender, juicy and flavorful

  1. Fatty Beef Roll/Fatty Lamb Roll: 30 seconds and a few shakes to ensure tender texture.
  2. tripe (gastronomy): 15 seconds for a crunchy texture that gets tougher as it goes on, so don't miss the best time.
  3. Duck's Blood/Beef Blanc: 2-5 minutes to absorb the broth for more flavor.
  4. Prawns/Fish Fillets: 1 minute, cook for a long time will be old, fish up the mouth fresh and sweet.
  5. Gizzard/ham sausage/fish sausage: 1-3 minutes to add savory flavor and chewiness.

Vegetarian | Refreshing and delicious!

  1. Golden Needle Mushroom/White Jade Mushroom: 2-3 minutes to soak up the broth and crisp up the texture.
  2. Shiitake mushrooms/kong choy/lettuce: 3-4 minutes, rich in vitamins, healthy and delicious.
  3. Lotus root/potato slices: 2-3 minutes, the noodles are sticky, soft and smooth, and super tasty when soaked up the soup.
  4. Vermicelli/Crystal Powder: 3-4 minutes, soft and Q-bomb, it is the essential carb bearer for hot pot.
  5. Tofu puffs/frozen tofu: 3 minutes to soak up all the broth from the bottom of the pan and be tender and juicy.
